Brisbane Road at dusk — a full house under the floodlights

Who we are

GSG has built the engine.
East London is the fuel.

The thesis

Own the relationship.
Build everything downstream of it.

Concentrating that platform in one city is deliberate. Density compounds: shared infrastructure improves operating leverage, teams can cross-promote to complementary fan bases, and sponsor partners can engage broader demographic and interest-based audiences across the portfolio. First-party fan relationships can be developed responsibly at scale, and every new asset strengthens the entire platform.

Leadership

David Gandler

Founder & General Partner

David Gandler has a proven track record of building and scaling businesses at the intersection of sports, media and technology.

He co-founded and led Fubo from startup to a category-defining streaming platform serving millions of subscribers, guiding the company through a public offering and NYSE listing and, ultimately, a business combination with Disney's Hulu + Live TV. The combined business became the sixth-largest pay-TV company in the United States.

As a former co-owner of Paris FC, he helped reposition the club for sustainable growth and long-term community value before successfully exiting his stake through the ownership transition to Agache Sport and Red Bull. Through GSG, he applies the same operator-led approach to building durable sports platforms rooted in their communities.

What we do

Five layers, one platform.

01

Teams & Sports IP

Own and operate sports properties that anchor the platform.

02

Fan Technology & Insights

Connect ticketing, payments and loyalty to strengthen first-party fan relationships.

03

Venues & Experiences

Create human-centred venues and interactive public spaces that turn spectators into participants and infrastructure into experiences — generating social and economic value beyond game day.

04

Media & Content

Create owned content and distribution capabilities that extend audience reach.

05

Sponsorship & Commerce

Cross-promote properties and give partners access to broader, complementary audiences.

The place

East London, built on generations of trust.

Since 1881, Leyton Orient has been part of one of London's most diverse and culturally dynamic communities. That continuity creates a depth of local connection that cannot be manufactured quickly.

Urban development should do more than make places smarter. It should make them more useful, inclusive and valuable to the people who live, work and spend time there.

GSG's approach begins with community and builds from there — creating connected venues and public spaces that support participation, economic activity and year-round engagement. The relationship comes first; the buildings follow.

Our approach

Each step creates value — for the platform and the place.

01 — Platform

Build the foundation

Own and operate sports properties, embedding technology and commercial infrastructure from day one to build direct fan relationships and durable revenue.

02 — Network

Put the portfolio to work

Share media, fan technology and commercial capabilities across the portfolio to cross-promote teams, reach complementary audiences, expand partner value and improve operating leverage.

03 — District

Create year-round value

Extend engagement beyond matchday through connected venues, programming and public spaces that bring sport, entertainment and culture together — supporting year-round activity and local economic value.

04 — Community

Build pathways locally

Partner with schools, clubs and community organisations to give people of all ages pathways through sport, skills development, training and employment.
